In the shadow, I am yearning  
To be swallowed by darken souls  
Wailing, searching, and burning  
To shatter the vow I made whole.  

The sanctity I once embraced  
Was folly in Lupin’s gaze  
Loyalty turned frail and erased  
My world intertwined in no exit maze 

Too numb to feel the warmth again  
No strength to fight  you  
Too weak to feel the cold disdain  
No strength to fight for you  

I offered Sapphire, Topaz, and Garnet  

Only to be returned with beads of deceit  

Losing to the stings of a thousand hornets  

Undignified, accepting all defeat 

No comfort words

I know it is not right

Protecting me from the blight
